i was almost tempted to give a good review, if it weren't for the fact that the motel looks abandoned with weeds everywhere! the shower was so cramped, i felt like i was in a sad little prison. i also can’t believe i didn’t receive a warm welcome gift as a special guest—certainly disappointing.

Request additional toiletries at check-in for a comfortable stay, as stock may be limited in the rooms.

Pothole-ridden parking lot!!! Walls stained and thin, difficult to escape ambient noise!!! Ac/heater ineffective, made the night uncomfortable!!!

During my stay, I appreciated the peaceful environment, especially the charming views of the cemetery and nearby farm animals. The staff were exceptionally nice, making me feel comfortable and welcomed throughout my visit.

Improve accessibility features for seniors.

The parking lot could use serious repairs. potholes litter the ground, making for a bumpy drive. Thin walls allowed sounds from neighboring rooms to seep in, including TV noise. The air conditioning didn't cool effectively, making the stay somewhat uncomfortable at times. Some lights in the room operated unexpectedly, with a mix of pull strings and switches, which can throw off your evening routines. Also, a faint cigarette aroma lingered, even in a non-smoking area.

I really loved the firm yet comfy bed! 🛏️ The room was clean, but I did notice the wall stains and weak AC. Overall a decent spot for a night.

perfect base for exploring parks and historical sites

staying here was great because the park was just a short stroll away, and I loved visiting both the John Brown Museum and the beautiful John Brown Memorial Park, both within a 15-minute walk, making it easy to soak in the area's history and nature.

An older motel with recent upgrades, the low noise levels in my room allowed for a restful night. The large shower featured new tiling and a high showerhead, enhancing my experience. However, a faint cigarette smell was present upon arrival, and the lack of shampoo in the room required me to ask at the front desk. While the attached café wasn't open during my visit, the comfortable bed made up for it.

The hotel is conveniently located off the freeway, making it easy for travelers. The staff generally keep things clean, which is always a plus. I appreciate that there are solid amenities like a fridge in the room.

However, the shower curtain was too short, causing a water mess on the floor.

It was just a good match for a whistle-stop in Osawatomie with fantastic value for money. Enjoyed the new tile in the large shower which made for a nice change during my stay. Check-in can be a bit slow, so just be patient.

Clean room, helpful staff, great location, perfect for exploring the area with easy access to free parking and free wi-fi, making the stay enjoyable and stress-free.
